In the last centuries the North Est of Italy has been a very important agriculture production area. Wine, with its ancient tradition, gave its huge contribution, and a long experience in winemaking was established in quite every family. The secret of this flourishing business was the logistics. Thanks to an impressive system of natural navigable rivers and canals, all the major cities were linked to the main ports, mighty harbours of the sea, gates to reach the rest of the world. Imagine to be on a slow boat, sailing through the vineyards all over the region, tasting local wines, accompanied by small bites called «cicchetti», tasty appetizers that every «bacaro» (typical Venetian pub) still today offers with a glass of wine. Decanal takes its inspiration from this unique experience, which is one of the most authentic of the Italian lifestyle.
